About Me!

My relationship with writing

Writing is a big part of who I am. I have always loved writing, even before I went into journalism. I am a creative writer, so going into journalism and learning the style of writing was a big change for me, but I believe I already have so much more experience as a writer because of it.

The Arts

In addition to writing, I am also a major fan of the arts. I play the cello for our school's orchestra and outside of school for the Peninsula Youth Orchestra. I also play the piano, and at times I try to write pieces, though they are often short. I am also a traditional artist and do most of my work with painting. I have recently started to try my hand at digital art aswell.

Fun Facts

  • I have been a NorCal Girl Scout since I was in kindergarten

  • I have two cats (Loki and Garfield) and one dog (Athena)

  • Despite my love for the arts, I also have a love for science and facts

  • I have two brothers, one of which has gone through the Carlmont Journalism Program

  • I have traveled to many states within this country and also outside of the country
